to the use of several medical specialties and modalities
to treat chronic pain. The primary disciplines being;
spinal interventions, Medication management, psychological
counseling to assist with coping strategies, physical
therapy and directed exercise therapy. Theses strategies,
when used appropriately and concurrently, can have a synergistic
effect on pain treatment and lead to marked improvement
in quality of life for the patient. |
